    Completed my 1/48 Eduard profipack Fokker D -8.

    Not totally happy with it, but I will learn from this one and move on.

    Great work Theuns, how on earth did you paint those colors? Masking or freehand? Nicely done mate

      The lozenge "fabric" are decals supplied with the kit.

      The real plane had a stressed skin plywood covered wing

        That's lovely. Great colour scheme - I love the WW1 lozenge schemes. I also spot some very fiddly work on the control wires around the tailplane - well done!

              Lots of detail in that one Theuns. Nice rigging work and decal application. Not sure what you're unhappy with, it looks great.

                Mostly the white spots all over the darn thing...my airbrush failed me when applying the final matt coat :-(

                    It looks like chipping exposing the plywood. Gives it a slightly weathered look, actually looks quite good.

                            I think that's excellent Theuns! It's hard to imagine flying safely in something so fragile looking, much less fighting in one!
