    Monogram 1/48 F16 Fighting Falcon

    this was an old kit , raised panel lines poor cockpit detail , no real paint instructions , the decals were old but I got most on very gently , however it was an enjoyable kit to build


    There was only drop tanks and Aim 9 sidewinder missiles and I wanted more so flyjoe kindly posted me a complete ordinance list I was able to raid my typhoon kit and rob the AMRAAM and paveway III missiles to give it a bit more of a menacing look

    That's a lovely Falcon Alan! The big ventral intake always reminds me of the Mustang


    Nitpick corner! The seams on the drop tanks....

      I'm not to bothered with the tanks , I was going to put another set on but the pylon didn't fit so went with these you won't see it when it's on a shelf

        That's nice alan only hope mine turns out half as good as that, it's on the bench partially made trying to avoid it I think.

          Cheers scott but I think yours will look better than my half hearted attempt lol I want the hasagowa one that looked about the best when I was looking for paint schemes

                Well, that is a great build, and for an old kit you certainly dragged it into modern times. Glad the ordnance info came in handy.
