I finally got this one finished.I had quite a few problems with the build. Most were of my own making though. The fit of the parts is very precise. You can't afford to get anything slightly out of line or you will have problems. The seats needed quite a bit sanding off the base if you want to model the closed canopy option. But it's not noticeable with the canopy closed.I also found the decals very fragile and not up to Airfix usual high standards.Luckily I've got a lot of spares. So I was able to replace most of the ruined ones. There are a lot of tiny stencils. But I didn't bother with most of them.Dont let my experience put you off though. This is a really nice kit.Just take your time and check things fit properly before glueing.

Beautiful work Dave. Despite the issues with the fit and errors, it has come out wonderfully. You have to love that scheme, very smart and precise, nicely painted. Looks great in that Cold War collection
