    41(F) Sqn in 1/48 - Hawker Demon

    Hi all;

    The latest completion in my quest to build 41(F) Sqn in 1/48; this is the Aeroclub Hawker Demon. A true multi-media kit, it has injection moulded, PE and white metal parts. Considering it is a small manufacturer, and limited run, it goes together well, but some care and patience is needed. Aluminium finish is Alclad, and the shiny nose is chrome Bare Metal Foil (first time I've used it!). Rigging is EZ Line and Uschi Van Der Rosten. Finished as a 41(F) Sqn machine of C Flight, based at RAF Catterick in 1936.

    Very nice indeed Andy. Great job.

    I have the very same kit for my 74sqd collection glad to hear that it builds well.

        Looks lovely. Nice job with the foil. I've never used it myself but know it can be tricky stuff to use.
