    1/48 ZERO WRECK.

I was very kindly sent this kit from a member on another forum, it had a few bits missing but he knew I would wreck it lol.

So, here is the wrecked 'Zero'. Inspired by old piccies of abandoned and stripped aircraft.

Nice work Si, some great weathering and a great use of the foliage around it

That's a fantastic looking wreck you have created. Your weathering is as your normal wrecks spot on and use of undergrowth is amazing.

There is one point I would have made and that is if the aircraft had soft landed then would there not be a mound of earth in front of the wings as it ploughed into the ground. It's only a passing comment not a critism.

              Amazing wreck Si

Fair question, I got the inspiration from looking at some old piccies of Japanese planes abandoned. This one is tailless, got hit by something and has then been stripped of parts-then just left. Well, thats the idea behind it.

Ta guys, glad you like it. For something wrecked it took ages to get that worn paint look.
