    Italeri 1/72 F4U-7 Corsair

    This is my 1/72 Corsair on return from mission over Indochina 1954, with damaged cockpit canopy. Built out of box, and brush painted,all comments good or bad welcome.

      Great results, love the paint job. Top notch.


      Reminds me of the 'bent wing bird' that they have at the FAA Museum at Yeovilton, they did a back restoration on it showing all it scars and patina that was hidden under a previous restoration coat of paint. It's good to see an aircraft with battle scars, add life to it. Well done

          Thank you for kind comments, I was not sure if I had overcooked the weathering as it was my first attempt.

                Great work and nice paint job and I really like the battle scarring ( they never were all pristine ) a well worn and well used look
