Hi folks!!!
News from my workbench: Bf 109 F-4 in 1/48 scale from HobbyBoss.
It`s a nice kit, downscaled from Trumpeter's 1/32 Bf 109 G-2.
To get an F-4, you have to rework some parts of the kit: remove the air scoops at the motor cowling, grind the fuel cap on the fuselage behind the cockpit, engrave the fuel cap below the cockpit on the left side of the fuselage.
Colours from Vallejo (Model Air).
Weathering: washing with diluted oil paint and use of various pastels.
The antenna wire is made of pulled sprue. The model is sealed with a thin layer of matte clear coat.
Cheers
Stefan
