Very nice Steve, decent photos too. I reckon I'll be trying some of those old style b&w shots too just need to sort out a background!

Yeah those dragon instructions aren't great are they, but I do think a lot of people come unstuck because they don't dry fit or think ahead.

    Quality build mate.

Big thanks to one and all. I'm glad you like it!

Next up another big German, the HK models Do 335 though I might first have a go at the ground crew originally intended to go with the Bf 110 for a bit of light relief.

      Cheers

Steve, that is one excellent build.

To quote you......"Best I can do.".....From my point of view, I'd like to see someone do better!

Thanks for the great build thread too. It's been a pleasure to follow.

SWMBO likes it! I even got permission to display it on the one and only shelf I'm allowed in the living room

This has relegated the big Spitfire floatplane to 'upstairs', the first step on the ladder to the great model dump in the sky aka the loft

            Cheers

You do better than me. My other half has told me for when we move no models on display ouside the study and garage!!! You at least get one in the living room. What is wrong with most women? they just do not see beauty where it truly exists!!!!

That's fantastic, Steve. It deserves its place in the living room.

They're not all like that, Barry. I can remember going with a young lady to Duxford in about 1979 (I know how to show a girl a good time), and how she was knocked out by the beauty of the biplanes there - all that fabric and varnished wood. Naturally I wasted no time in marrying her and we've been married ever since!

Magnificent work Steve, that's a real beauty. Pride of place is deserved.

When I renovated our place I was instructed to move all my builds to my workshop in the garage.

Thanks again to one and all.

Joe, I'm lucky, I've got models in the front room, the upstairs landing and the one solitary shelf in the back room (our most used living room). Apart from a few in the den the rest are in the loft, probably never to see the light of day again.

                              Cheers
