So my Christmas prezzy is complete. This is another 'New tool' Airfix kit which I rather like. It goes together quite well, except my tail fin was bent.
Anyway, this is XN793 with this example flown by Wing Co. JB Mitchell CO of No. 92 Squadron, RAF Germany, Gutersloh, August 1972.
92 squadron has a long a varied history with a number of famous pilots serving with the squadron, still in existence today, but without aircraft I think.
The model is finished using Alclad. I've used this before but not for a complete finish. It's been a lesson, but now has me thinking about one of those really shiny F104's.........and anything else I can 'Alcladise' (I made a word up there)
So, the result of a rather fast build - well fast for me.
Questions, comments observations always welcomed.
