Hi guys, this is my latest build, Academy Models 1/72 P-51D Mustang "Bunnie".
It hasn't turned out as nice as I would have liked and I tried a new way of weathering with pastel powdering but when I put the matt cote over the top it just turned to a liquid and spread everywhere, especially on the left wing. I made a major mistake with the undercarriage panels and painted them aluminium instead of red
which is annoying but I'd gone too far with the build to try and fix it.
My plan is to have 4 or 5 similar P-51's in flight on an airfix display mount so this one will serve as a good base to build the others
