Absolutely top notch build Phil. Great result

How did you come by the over trees?

    Cheers

Eduard sell overtrees on their website, I imagine they seem to become available at the start of a manufacturing run and at the end of a run (that makes sense in my head anyway). So their random at times and the best thing to do is check their site under overtrees every month. All you get is the plastic but you can download the instructions as a pdf from their site. I like to use aftermarket decals anyway and I'm doing progressively more scratch on my builds now anyway so the only thing I purchased for this was PE cockpit, decals, and a mix of Aires and master guns through nose. The wing mounted guns were made from two pieces of Albion alloys barrels, more info can be found on the build thread.

Cheers Phil, I'll take a look.

Yeah, don't mind just having the plastic - everything else can be sourced. I guess it all boils down to whether it proves cheaper or not.

        Interesting though.

Again, great finish to the Dora. Got a couple of Hasegawa 1/32 kits in the stash and at least one of em is gonna get the JV44 treatment.

        Cheers

Fantastic build, Phil. The colour scheme looks great, and the chipping and mottling are sublime!

The overtrees normally work out to about £12 which is decent if you have everything else, I just checked my last order and I got overtrees some PE and post for around £25, hope this helps.

Very nicely done Phil. Nice additions to the kit, that hatch is looking really good.

Thanks Stefan, took me a little longer than I hoped. I did complete a 262 a while back on here and I do have another in the stash but that won't be started for a while.

                  Cheers

I like it loads. A nice bit of wear and tear just to bring it to life.

I really like this, I was sad to sell my combo pack but bills come first. The paintwork is great you really do build fantastic planes.

Hope in time to get another one and build it when I'm moved

Blimey Ade! That's praise indeed. John (John I am) mentioned he bought that off you, I hope you were both happy with the price.

Best thing to do is buy the cheapest eduard D9 you find and get some third party decals, mine was the overtrees direct from eduard but you'll probably pick one up of Amazon just as cheap.

                              Cheers
