    Revell Avro Shackleton

Well this one is finally finished and I'm glad it's off the bench. Problems too many to mention but in the end it's come out alright. I wouldn't say I would recommend it but it's worth a go if you like a fight. Anyway here's the photos

A wonderful build Vaughan, a clean and quality build and the photos really do enhance the model.

It looks every inch a Shackleton Vaughan and a very good one at that. If I'd not seen the build thread I wouldn't have believed it gave such a fight. Just shows your building skills and well worth 5 stars any day.

Looks great, Vaughan. It's a really neat build and I love the way the bright stencils etc. contrast with the overall dark scheme.

Beautiful build Vaughan. I know it has battled you all the way but you have won and the result is something you should be proud of.

Thanks everyone for the comments it's really appreciated. Colin I think we both have done well with this kit. Tamiya sounds good was thinking of the 1/48 th scale Mossi or maybe the Airfix 1/48th Meteor. But then again flower pressing sounds a safer option.

Turned out really nice Vaughan, I don't fancy the kind of fight you had though so I'll pass thanks!

The more finished builds I see of these the more I want one. Then you look at the build threads.......

A great build Vaughan and well worth the effort

Great result Vaughan, you'd never tell from the great finish that it was such a battle. Very nicely presented in your photos too, nice one.

Agree with everyone above, looks fantastic and definitely belies the struggles it presented in the build! You should be very proud of that.

Fabulous build Vaughan and a stunning result. That is a lovely looking Shackleton.

it's a testiment to your modelling skills when the result seems so effortless.
