    Italeri 1/72 Super Etendard

    Build thread here:

Super Etendard of Flottille 14F, Aeronavale, Landivisiau, France, 1991. Flottile 14F disbanded in 1991, this would have been one of the last schemes worn by that unit. The Super Etendard has in the last month or so, been totally replaced by the Rafale M within the French Navy.

For an old kit the detail looks rather good and you have enhanced that look with a great paint scheme. Top work Joe.

Thanks Si. I enjoyed this one, bit of a false start in the paint when I changed schemes but I'm glad I went for this one now.

Very nice. I do like the very subtle camouflage.

Real nice Joe. I haven't been on the forum in a little while and I could have sworn you were doing an Argentine aircraft!?

Not that it matters of course - it remains a great build with a lovely scheme applied.

                  Great stuff.

                  Paul

BTW. I really would like one of these  in 1/48 in my collection

Hi Paul, good to hear from you again. You were correct, I was intending to complete the Super Etendard as an Argentine machine, but had a change of heart and preferred the camouflage scheme. They're an attractive looking aeroplane aren't they? You're spoiled for choice in 1/48 for the Super Etendard. I say go for it Paul
