Another Airfix!!! Hurricane with a difference.

Another quicky! Built it last week end and painted it over a couple of evenings during the week.

I didn't fancy the BOB bird and as the Sea Hurricane was in its beginings an ordinary MkI with a paint job I thought Why not.

I could not figure out if the 'M' was roundel blue or black. It can't be seen in photos, and the other models I have seen have it both. Black on some, Blue on the others.

masked it with tape and sprayed it blue, along with the spinner.

Hope you like it as much as I do. (My First Hurricane ever!!!)

Now sitting here looking at a Mossy T33 conversion.......

There's a new one? I s'pose that would mean no to your question. This is the original one.

I meant if it is the one in the "new" red box? I saw an airfix 1/72 sea hurri at the IPMS yesterday and it looks like a nice little kit

In this new kit they supply a controll collomb, yet in the new spit Mk9 kit non is supplied! Strange.

Good to see something a bit different and very nicely put together. The gun shading is beautifully subtle, great AB work.
