    RF-84F Thunderflash in 1/48 (Tanmodel)

    Hi mates!!!

For my long-term project "100 years of military aviation in Turkey" I 've got a new "member".
It's the RF-84F "Thunderflash" from Tanmodel in 1/48 scale.
This kit has been praised everywhere, but I had some problems with the assembly. Especially the windows for the cameras had a bad fit and also there were problems at the transition between the fuselage and wings.
But in the end, it worked out quite well.
Colors from Vallejo, Gunze, Revell and ModelMaster.

    Cheers......
    Stefan

That's really good, where did you get the pilot from?

        Thanks, guys!!
Leo, as I said.....I had problems with the camera-windows, they had a bad fit (too big), and also at the transition between fuselage and wings.
But of course it's possible that I got a "monday kit".

Alex, the pilot comes from the F-84G-kit from Revell/Monogram.

Wow Stephan this is another great build and very nicely displayed too. I really like the camo and blending tech you have achieved
I need to do my tri camo on my phantom and I'm looking at ways to blend the camo soft ( I really like the weathering on the panels too

          Kind regards

          Robert

This is really, really nice. Tanmodel, not a manufacturer I've heard of before.

Thanks for your kind words, mates!!
Colin, Tanmodel is a turkish manufacturer (suitable for my model). The company is new in business and up to now they have only 3 kits in their program.

Excellent work Stefan. I've not heard of the manufacturer before but it's a very nicely presented finished kit.
