Thanks for that Paul I didn't realise that it was that long ago.....they look great. I presume you have used PhotoShop(very skilfully I might add) to create the images which of course needed some very well built Spitfires!!!

"Not one of my best" he says! I'd give my left arm up to the elbow to be able to produce results like that!

It's good to see you in better health and back at the bench Vaughan.

Yes, it's photoshop - a good tool but not as important as the model building.

I won't be posting builds for a while as I'm in the midst of moving house and all the upheaval that entails. Could be as long as a year, by which time I'll be chomping at the bit to get stuck into a build!

I do have the forum though to see me through the move, and I can continue to enjoy the models from the likes of your good self! Keep 'em coming!!! and if you do build the mk.IX I'd be very interested to see the progress.

          All the best
          P

            Cheers

I've been beavering away at this one for quite a while, no build thread, this ones been built many times, so just a few cockpit details. This one's straight out of the box with some home made Sutton harnesses. Build went without any real problems. Closing the fuselage was bit of a struggle the cockpit tub was a tight fit and needed some sanding. All in all a nice well detailed kit. I see they have just brought out a Mk.IX so I may have a go at that one. Anyway this is not one of my best builds but it's a start back into the modelling, all comments welcome.
