Pete's Airfix BOB memorial flight part 2 Hurricane mkII 1\72

This one is the second out of the box the last being the Lancaster.
It's the first kit done by my new airbrush and I am pleased with the results took me three days as there were not many bits.

Nice one. that new airbrush is seeing some action. I hope your cat doesn't stand still for too long, he'll end up with airbrushed spots or stripes........

That's a very nice Hurri Peter! Looks as though you're really getting to grips with your airbrush

I'd either leave off the aerial wire or find a thinner replacement though coz that thread (?) really detracts from an otherwise excellent model.

I have ditched the original Ariel and replaced it with something thinner.

That's much better Peter - one trick when using metal or plastic wire is to heat up a nail & pass it along the wire - being careful not to touch it!
The heat causes the wire to contract slightly, giving a nice taut look.

Great job Peter. You're achieving much better finishes with your airbrush.
