    Completed Rbaker's Airfix 1/48 Ju-87 B-1 Stuka

    Well here she is finished

No fit issues to mention painted using Vallejo Model Air enjoyed the build might get another one to do the other scheme and have the engine on display.

Here is the link to the build thread

That looks very good Richard, it's turned out really well.

One thing though, the front intake isn't painted inside - I only mention it coz it's quite noticeable on the Stuka.

Not sure what colour it should be so it has been painted the same as the underside but in the pics the light does make it look unpainted

I'm no expert but I think it's a radiator (?) so I'd have painted it dark grey or a metallic grey maybe.
As I say, it's only noticeable because it's right there. You could mix some thinnish black/grey & carefully dab it in so the paint spreads out naturally. That way there's no risk of marring any of the other excellent paintwork.

Nice one, Rick - good to see another completion in the Stuka GB.

From what I've found, you were correct in painting the grills the same as the underside colour, but to add interest to the finish I'd put a black wash in between the grills to break up that solid look. A cracking build Richard, nice work.
