    Supermarine Spitfire Mk XVI

Just thought I'd post a few pics of my Revell 1:48 Supermarine Spitfire .
I actually started it about 3 years ago but lost the canopy, I ordered a new one from Hannants and a day later found the original
Then I lost the door, so I bought a new kit just for the door. After 12 months I decided to scratch build a door.

So its been a drawn out build but finally done

Painted as always with Tamiya paints.
    Thanks for looking in

Great build and great painting. It's no reflection on your build, but clipped wing Spitfire's just don't do it for me.

Fantastic job Adrian , the camo is perfect and loving the base too. It looks a very nice kit -well detailed ,did it build up ok ? (obviously apart from losing the bits!) cheers tony
