My first commission build ( well sort of )

My niece is doing WWII at school, and she realy likes the Spitfire. So she gave me a Airfix 1/72 Mk 1 to build, but she said " I don't want the colours on the picture ", so I asked her what colours do you want ! Well here it is.

I love it. If you'd done it for her in those colours without asking her first, it would have been gender stereotyping at its worst!

Then again, I am wondering - what would you normally use those colours for ?

                            For the Pink I used 1 part red ( Vallejo 71.102 ) to 2 parts White ( Vallejo 71.001 ).
And for the purple I used 50/50 red ( 71.102 ) blue ( 71.088 French blue ) then just added some white to lighten the colours for the post shading Colin.
