    HobbyBoss 1/32: IL-2M3 "Shturmovik"

    Hi mates!!!

News from the "Black Forest - Kraut":nerd:: it's my new IL-2M3 "Shturmovik" from HobbyBoss in 1/32 scale.
A nice kit, but in some parts a little bit tricky to assemble. Also the painting instructions are not correct.
Colors from Revell, Gunze and Vallejo.
It shows the IL-2M3 "White 1", flown by the "Hero of the Soviet Union" Ivan F. Pavlov.

    Cheers
    Stefan

These HB Strurmoviks are excellent kits, I have built one and have another in the stash. You have done a superb job Stefan.

Superb job, Stefan. Of course 'correct', when talking about USSR WW2 colours, is a somewhat vague concept, but your colours look good to me.

              Thanks, mates!!:smiling4:

Tony, I'm sure that your IL-2 will be a cracker........:thumb2:
Colin, yes...the figure comes from "Aerobonus" and I painted it with Revell's Aqua Colors. Weathered with a "bath" in diluted oil paint.

              Cheers
              Stefan

Very nicely done Stefan, and something different from your bench I like the subtle weathering and chipping
