          The subtle finishes just blew me away. Amazing. You just gave us a glimpse of the office, but it looked very well done. I use winding wire from SWMBOs old hair dryer motors & transparent nylon thread depending on mounting point.

            Thanks for the comments, take a look at the build thread below for more shots of the cockpit. It was OTB so not mega detailed mind you.

                That's a beautifully built P-40, Phil. The weathering is just right and you've captured her lines in your clean shots.

                I've only managed to get up close to one at the Australian War Memorial Museum but it was under dim lighting. I've got a Tomahawk just waiting in the stash to be built...not the same plane but you may have wetted my appetite with your build. :smiling4:

                Very neat too.
