    VC-10 @ Brize...

    Hi all,

    I don't know if any of you have ever seen this, it happened whilst I was in hospital after my motorbike accident back in '97, a mate of mine was doing a de-fuel (he was the bowser driver) and the Tech forgot about the tail section fuel tank...

    My section (ASVS) had it framed for me as a leaving present...

    Ah good old XR806. Worked on her in Base Hangar

    Oh and the tech involved did the refuel from the eng's position and didn't know about the faulty dolls eye on there rear tank which showed the tank to be empty when in fact it wasn't lol

      That looks expensive!

        I reckon about 600kg of lead shot in the nose cone should sort that out! LOL tony
