Well,Ian, thanks from me to both of you! It was a surprise to see it resurrected.
I'm ready for another wingy thingy, got a 1/48 Spitfire on the stocks, but I've got the Cosford under a fiver GB to do which has to be a figure because that's all I bought there.
Mind you, I need it to be a good one as an antidote from the starter kit horrors!
    cheers
    Neil

Very nice Neil. It actually looks quite graceful, well from above.

              Hi Neil
That looks very nice indeed. As you say the rigging is very nicely done.

Wondered what happened to this Neil, a great thing to accomplish from the half built one you bought. Well done mate, a thing of beauty.
Bet your work colleague is thrilled.

                John.

This is nice! I thought it was all put to bed and now I'm getting comments again- lovely!
Thank you Richard, Ralph, Jim & John.
It's been very good to be able to do some models of things other than that-and for myself! As I said, I didn't dare get sidetracked by anything else, it went on long enough as it was!
                  cheers
                  Neil

Please accept my apologies too neil , i must have missed this one when you first posted it , fantastic job, i imagine it was a bit of a trial what with it being half built but it looks superb . As for the looks .. i cant make up my mind , i dont know whether to look at it from the viewpoint of a boat or an aircraft or a pontoon bridge !! Maybe its just a mash up of all three! Cheers tony

It looks like Glencoe Models has it as a new release. (reissue)

looks like more or less the same kit but with extra thick bits of plastic where there should be rigging lines...
strangely enough I won't be building it !:tears-of-joy:
