    Airfix 1:72 DH Vampire T.11

My training squadron has increased a touch more with this little Airfix Vampire. It's a simple straight forward kit. I did add some resin seats, just because the cockpit was going to be open, and they were cheap, ยฃ3.50 for a pair.
There were no problems building it, even the Dayglo decals behaved them selves.

Again, another Airfix kit I can recommend.

        Hi Colin
That is an excellent result. Good to read that you found it to be a nice kit as I hope to build it for the upcoming "Starter kit" GB.

I think the Venom came after the Vampire, also, DH really liked the twin boom layout, hence the Vixen still used it later on. The Venom has been described as 'more refined'.

Sure thing Jim, you won't be disappointed. I used resin seats, but it really doesn't need them, I just picked them up cheap at a show.

                    Colin,
Superb build, you are forgiven for using resin seats - shocking..... I must remove them all from my stash.....
                    Cheers, Mike.
