    F89M Scorpion What-If

old Revell kit done for a 'What-If' GB elsewhere

I acquired the kit with no instructions or decals years ago, so it's perfect whiff-fodder

F89 was an early jet age bomber interceptor used by the USAF......so what if other NATO countries acquired it .........kit came with Genie/Falcon/Mighty Mouse missiles......discarded them all in place of some Sidewinders (which is what replaced the Falcon in US service)

scheme is 324 Squadron, Royal Netherlands Air Force..........which period correct as in the real world they flew Meteors, then Hunters followed by F104 in the interceptor role

    and one for scale

    Per Ardua

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been
