    Revell 1/32 JU88

Well I started this one in 2016 and it got a bit lost along the way. It's been sat in my man cave for 3 years . It's all finished now no real problems although when I removed the canopy masks there was a lot of residue from the tape so not as good as I would have liked. I had fun trying to photograph this one my A1 artist paper wasn't big enough so there was a bit of fudging to make it work hence there a fewer photos than I would normally post. During the photo session the main wheels axels both broke due to the weight of the model so a quick repair was needed in the shape of brass tubing all sorted now though. I have another model kicking around the cave a Dauntless that I started back in 2014. Have just bought some Montex canopy and national insignia and tactical marking mask so that will probably be on the bench. All comments welcome.

Thanks gents. Now the issue is where am I going to display the beast? Was thinking of displaying it by hanging it vertically on a wall but not sure how that will work any suggestions? I have the Revell 1/32 he111 in the stash so that will be a challenge too.

Well I've hung the JU88 from a picture hook(the hook is held by a 4cm pin) using 8lb breaking strain fishing line and I think it looks ok. If it stays put then I think it's the way to go for hanging larger planes when your limited for space. If it falls off I'll be buying a new Ju88:astonished:

                            Very nice model Vaughan.

Very nice effects & a pristine build of an aircraft in service.

                            Very nice photo presentation.

Great finish Vaughan. As for the storage solution, that's something I might be adopting in the future.
