Well as promised I managed to take some photos over the W/E. I started this build back in 2014 and last worked on it in 2016 finally picking it up again at the beginning of May. As far as I can remember there were no build issues the only thing that let it down was the decals which just fell apart hence the reason I ended up using Montex masks. The model depicts White 45 an SBD-5 of VB-16 USS Lexington 1943. I would highly recommend building this model you can get great results. This might end up as a wall hanger as I have no shelf room. Anyway here are the photos all comments welcome:smiling3:

John I use two sheets of A2 artist card one for the floor and one for the backdrop. I have two box lights on stands which are positioned on either side in close proximity to the model. The lights eliminate almost all the shadows so you end up with nice clean photos. I use to take the photos with my phone but I have been using a Olympus XZ2 for the last three models I have photographed but there's nothing wrong with using a phone.Comment
