The problems I had on the Sea Vixen, with paint lifting carried over to the Sea Hawk, and in consequence what should have been a simple model took ages to complete. No underside pictures, as my attempt at a light panel wash was - rubbish - enough said.
The Hobby Boss Sea Hawk is a nice little simple model - I had to use a little filler around the fuselage/tail section joint, but not too bad. It shows the clean lines of this early jet.
It seems that the problems I've had with paint killed my enthusiasm for this model, so I've put the Sea Vixen aside for the moment, as I think it deserves better. I'll have to think on what comes to the bench next..................

Just what he needs Tony, a more complicated paint job!
Dave, it looks good to me too, especially considering the paint problems you had.

Dave, despite the paint issues, your Seahawk has turned out very nicely. Look forward to seeing the Vixen in due course.
