    Hobby kings Fokker dr1

Hi all well I'm calling this done, I intended to leave the woodwork showing and obviously never intend to fly it so i see no point in buying a prop for it.

Now it's done I have no idea what I'm going to do with it as it is huge so it will probably end its days in the shed hanging from the roof.

You could always sell it on Ebay, seen some models like that on there, then the money goes towards future stash.

That's like poking me with a stick, I put a scratch built ship on there with a buy it now price of 850 quid (that's what it cost me to build) I was offered a fiver and then got a snotty message as I didn't bother to reply (I sold it after and bought a 55 inch 3d TV and 3 d sound bar with the proceeds ( and 55 inch TVs had only just came out then)) I also posted two 1/6 motorbikes on there and got 4.50 for them, so in answer to your suggestion I would rather burn it than post it on ebay. I am always willing to give it away to anyone on here, as i have in the past.

Fair comment, some people expect the earth but pay peanuts.

Love it ken , that is seriously massive though,! You say you’ll probably end up hanging it in the shed , if you decided to dismantle and recycle it you could probably build another shed with the timber!!! Cheers tony

                Very nice Ken.
I can see you have put a shed load of work and effort into it's construction.
...and it's a great reference to what lurks under the actual fabric of these WW1 fighters.

                Excellent stuff.... :thumb2:

Looks great Ken, but go on, treat it to a prop. You could even make one.
