    Grumman Duck

    Howdy Guys,

Ok, I am on vacation (holiday as you say in the UK) this week and have already been busy with several models at one time. However, there was one that I really wanted to complete this week and this is it.

Glencoe models GRUMMAN J2F2 "DUCK" amphibious biplane. This aircraft was first flown in the 1930's, but seeing a need for recon and SAR as well as ASW during the war, the duck was used in all of the above roles.

This model is a limited run re release of this aircraft with working landing gear. It is not exactly 1:48th scale, but is advertised on the box as such....its really somewhere around 1:54th scale I think.

    Anyway, here she is:

It hasnt rained in several days, so the water puddle in which I photographed the Japanese "Rufe" is nowhere to be found lol. But I think the two would look good in a puddle together lol.

    Have a good day,

    Greg
