X-3 "Stilleto" 1:48th scale

Howdy guys,

Ok, I have been on vacation all this last week and I didnt quite get as many models done as I thought I would. But, I did finish a few and had some time to relax.

This model is Linbergs 1:48th scale model of the Douglas X-3 "Stilleto" research plane. Its a simple kit with few pieces....but its also an older kit and back when this model first came out, simple was good lol.

Anyway, here she is in my driveway, the Douglas X-3 "Stilleto":







If you ever see this old kit, buy it, it makes a nice display model.

A very nice looking model there Greg,

I can see where the idea for the F-104 Starfighter came from too, similar layout, long fuselage and tiny wings.
