I started this build around mid January, and just completed it today. That's about 3 months, which for something of this size, isn't too bad for me. I've been doing lots of other jobs in the garden etc during this build, so really it could have been built a fair bit quicker. One reason it can be built so quickly, is Hong Kong Model's very different approach to the manufacture of the kit. Different, probably unique.

As you can imagine, getting decent pic's of something so big, is a bit tricky.
A lot of the model is a really tight fit. Many sub-sections were just pushed together and left. I've used MRP paints for the outside, and Alclad for the metal bits. The decals were really thick, but eventually done as they were told.
As for the weathering, well I've seen plenty of pics of very tired looking undersides, but it's difficult to find any upper surfaces photo's, understandably really, given the height of the aircraft. So, the upper side is a bit of a guess. But I do like a dirty bird.

Then is started to rain, so I tried some inside pictures, but soon gave up.
