Howdy guys,
I have been at it again. Today I decided to build the
Northrop XP-56 Black Bullet. Looking strangley like the
Me-163Comet, this aircraft used twin counter rotating
pusher props.
This presented a problem for the pilot if the need for exiting the aircraft in a hurried manner arose. The ejection seat had not been invented as of yet and therefore this aircraft had explosives which would "blow away" the propellers if the need to bail out arose.
Anyway, here she is ........on my driveway with a 1:48th scale 3/4 ton utility truck.
Note the distinct similarities between the XP-56 Black Bullet and the Me-163Comet below:
