    Thank you both.

The Tamiya was obviously a much better starting point but I'd like to think the little things I've learned and added here & there have made a difference.

      Andy,
You would never know you have only been modelling for a short time that is an excellent result.

Though your first one isnโ€™t a poor model by any stretch, this new one really shows how far youโ€™ve gotten in just a year I like the brown and green better than grey and green for these kinds of planes in any case, and this one looks very good.

Looks really good Andy, well done. I preferred the chipping before your paint disaster though...

Thanks Jakko, I too prefer the colour scheme of this one.

Cheers Pete, and me too. It wasn't quite as successful second time around but something for me to keep practising.

As the guys have said , it's a cracking result for such short experience. You're clearly a natural! One to be proud of

Excellent work Andy, the Mk.1 Spitfire looks great. And the progress youโ€™ve made in a year is marked. I think the truth is that we never stop learning and each model we do brings us a fresh experience. The odd mishap or mistake only adds to our knowledge and only makes us better modellers.

You got one terrific collection of finished models there - fabulous stuff.
                        Cheers
                        Paul

Thanks very much Paul. I'm never particularly happy just after finishing a model but looking back on them, particularly my recent ones, I'm dead chuffed.

Thanks Phil. The dust / overspray on the inside of it is rather annoying though. All that time spent on the cockpit and it's too foggy to see most of it :smiling5:
