    Kovozavody Prostejov 1:72 Mig-19s

Here's one I've just finished. The Cosford (that didn't happen) build.

I got the kit cheap off ebay (within the £5.00 limit) produced by a totally unknown (to me) manufacturer. Yes, it was a bit ropey in places, but actually, not a bad build after all.
One reason I chose this kit, just like when I was a lad, this one came with a stand, ready for flying mode.

The final paint was various shades of Alclad.

A little problem there. With this boxing, the finish for that aircraft was camouflage. I had already gone down the nmf route by then.

Shame , although the PAF had Nat metal aircraft so you could have just used them anyway , not to worry , you can do it on the next one !:smiling5: Cheers tony

I was going to say that the N.Vietnamese had all-metal finish a/c. I've got a Mig 21 in the stash calling out for just such a finish in PAF markings so I would hope so :smiling5:
I do like what you've done with the finish of the airframe Colin. £5 - wow!
                  Cheers

Excellent finish Colin, and thank you for adhering to the spirit and original concept of the Cosford £5 or under build.

                    Top man!

                    Ron

There's something to be said for raised rivets. :smiling:

                          Doh - I didn't realise that.
