Airfix Bristol Blenheim Mk IV 1/72nd

Ok folks I have finally finished, not happy with the canopy got some marks and minor fogging, despite dry fitting I had to redo it when I matched the front section of the aircraft to the rest. Aside from that it is a fairly pleasant kit OOB, although I did use the Eduard photo-etch for the cockpit. As I said in the build thread I have done minimal weathering as the available period photos seem to show aircraft in good condition.

Looks great Dave. What glue did you use for the canopy to end up with some fogging. I always use Crystal Clear which is a PVA that dries absolutely glass like. Never fails me and wont cause fogging.

Very nice work Dave, and I agree with Steve on the canopy glue.

Dave,. Looking very nice indeed. Well done. I've also heard good things about Crystal clear.

            Thanks for the kind words.
I used Humbrol Clear Fix for the canopy, it is usually OK but in this instance i also needed some Superglue for some etch in the cockpit, immediately before and i suspect that and some dirty fingers messing with fit caused the damage. You live and learn.
I need to try Crystal Clear, but havent found anywhere to get it from on the continent yet.

You've hit the nail on the head there Dave, it would have been the superglue that fogged the canopy. Notorious for it.

That looks splendid Dave. I built one and had some fun with the cockpit / canopy, so you're not alone there.
