    Abandoned 'Doodlebug'

This is the finished Fi 103 (V-1) some of which so annoyed my grandmother during the war.

It's from the Special Hobby 1/32 kit, which makes for an ...errrr...interesting build.

I'm not sure about the back drop, most of these were launched from France and the Low Countries which are not known for their mountainous terrain or skiing opportunities, but it looks nice

Very nicely done Steve. You do know however that on some sites you'd be flamed for using the wrong shade of Dunkelgelb on the trolley? :tongue-out3:

      Cheers Dave!
Don't tell anyone, but the second coat/touch up on the trolley was British Buff
The colour I mixed matched it almost perfectly, I doubt I could have done it intentionally :anguished:

Nicely done Steve. You haven't lost your touch!

The backdrop looks just like my favourite Welsh lake, Llyn Gwynant in The Snowdonia National Park. How I wish I could be there right now.... :sad-face:

Nicely painted & executed - almost looks like it is part of the backdrop!!:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Re mountains - they could be taking the photo looking away from the launch pad????

                    Paul.

                      Excellent work Steve,

A really nice build and I especially like the camo you have done. Looks just like a lot of the original "bugs"!!!

So true Dave and my answer to those "experts" is quite simple. I just say, "oh, I forgot that you were there".....Ends the dispute rather quickly!!!
