    1/72 Royal Navy collection cont'd - "The Three V's"

I wouldn't start by saying this is my covid output, because it isn't. Other than not being able to travel, my working life has been unaffected by the whole thing so it's been business as usual on the modelling time front.

Last year whilst in Birmingham I stopped off at a floor to ceiling overstocked model shop and found the Vampire F.20 and Venom FAW.21 and decided that they had to be added to the stash. I later decided that they were missing the Vixen so picked up the FAW.2.
This then inspired me to do a triple build, which I originally intended to do OOB, representing the Vampire and Venom from RNAS Ford which is down the road from here and the Vixen in HMS Eagle. That was until I found the decal set to represent the Vixen in it's XJ580 markings, which I spent endless hours staring at when I visited Tangmere Aviation Museum as a teenager.

    So, here they are.

No no, the thicko is on this side of my keyboard, or PBCAK, as we politely put it.

Thanks Dave! Having an ugly nose, I thought this would be my least favourite, but it is elegant in it's own way and turned out nice.
