    Revell 1/32 Hawker Tempest V

Well I've managed to complete this one relatively fast for me in just a month. No real issues with this one. The only thing I added was some pre-painted harnesses from Eduard as Revell supplied decals which are impossible to use. No fit issues, all in all a nice kit.

        Great job Vaughan.

It's a lovely representation of an often overlooked aircraft. It somehow manages to look modern and menacing and slightly old fashioned at the same time!

A great model of a very purposeful looking aircraft.

Thanks guys for all your comments, it was a great kit to build, I would highly recommend it. It's currently £39.49 on Amazon.

A great result Vaughan. It’s the Special Hobby tooling isn’t it? It’s tempting.

Yes Barry it is minus the photo etch and resin extras, but still worth the money. Steve built the Special Hobby version a few years back. there are some differences mine has the canons but otherwise the same.

As Vaughan says, I built the same kit (just with a few bells and whistles in my boxing) and found it a very nice kit indeed. I would certainly second his recommendation.

If you are looking for a WW2 subject after you thrash that big old Hurricane into submission you won't go far wrong with one of these! Plus, it's always good to see someone else's take on a kit you've already built.

                              Cheers

                              Steve
