    Curtiss P40 Kittyhawk Mk1a - 112 'Shark' Squadron RAF.

Here is my fifth build and my first in 1:32 scale. Really nice kit but one that was not without its problems, mostly me!!! I had a rather clumsy day yesterday while trying to finish, spent hours on the rigging and ended up having to remove it and respray a wing while also breaking the pitot tube and had to scratch build a replacement from scrap plastic. Overall though I am reasonably pleased with the result and I am making progress with the canopy finish, its a lot better than my others though still not perfect....

Barry a lovely finish great cockpit detail. Nice subtle weathering. The rigging has come out well despite your problems.

It looks great barry. P40's have a nice shape about them and your painting high lights this really well.
