Forgive the quality of the build as there is a rather conspicuous seem on the nose what was really trying to achieve is comments on the camouflage as I haven't done mottled for a while and as I have a decent 1/32 scale waiting I just need reactions to the paint work so I can apply it to my next build and as this was only 40 parts witch was less than my spitfire.

I think it's a good start Peter, and obviously there were no standards when it came to mottling, but if you're trying to replicate the mottling on that 109E you can probably afford to go a little darker/denser with the blotches. I'm no Luftwaffe camo expert myself, but I think the secret is to build up each mottle with multiple passes, using a low air pressure. If it helps here's a colour pic of a desert Emil.

Hi Peter,
I think you're camo effect looks good for a 109,
if you want the mottling to be more like the ref-pictures then you might want to spray closer to the surface to achieve sharper/harder pattern-edges. If spraying closer is a problem then you can make some stencils from paper (add a small spacer underneath for softer edges) and spray at a 90° angle over the paper.
Have fun!
