FROG 1/72 Westland Lysander - Resuscitated

Thanks David. I think Matchbox and Airfix also did 1/72 Lysanders in the 1970/80s. The new kit from Dora Wings looks great. The Lysander is an under apppreciated aeroplane I think.

Jo i can remember one of the old boys at club built a diorama with a lysander making a drop off or pick up in France all done in very muted colours with the headlight beams painted on to the ground and thinking without a light box or any real special effects its somewhere in France in the dark so simple but so well conceived. Looks great, quite sinister in that scheme. I used to prefer Frog to Airfix kits when I was young- they weren't as detailed, but they fit better and the canopies were much clearer.
