Well, i have completed my very first fully painted and weathered model. Overall I’m ok with how it turned out and I have learned a lot while I was building it.
In terms of the building process it was relatively straightforward albeit I had some challenges when it came to using putty and panel scribing.
Painting was a bit intimidating at first but Ron’s brush painting guide helped a lot and I think the base brown colour of the camo looks good. Unfortunately painting the green camo was a bit more fiddly and the brush marks are more visible due to me trying to stay within the lines.
Painting the canopy was frustrating but I think by the end I started develop a technique for it.
finally I had to realise that weathering is a whole separate art form and I still have a lot to learn but I guess it is a good start.
Please feel free to share any opinions or suggestions.
cheers
