    HKM 1/32 Do335 Zerstorer

An excellent kit but, as for so many kits produced in China, it assumed most people would want all the hatches displayed open and the fit of these did not match the fit of the rest of the kit. Some filler and sanding sorted that. Thoroughly recommended though, an enjoyable and rewarding build. As the Zerstorer version did not see operational use I have kept the weathering very light.Click image for larger version

      Hi Barry
That is an excellent model of this strange looking aircraft. I enjoyed following the build.

That is one well built model of a well weird aircraft.
Painted and weathered to your normal high standards.

                  Lovely job!
It looks quite a beast, even if with hindsight we know it was a dead end and waste of resources.
Big up on the sprayed markings which look the business.

Looks great Barry, I imagine it needed quite a bit of nose weight. What paints/colours did you use on it?

There were weights provided shaped to fit spaces in the nose. The paints were MRP lacquers with the standard late war RLM 81/82/76 scheme.
