    Airfix 1/72 Jet Provost

I'm a sucker for anything with dayglo on so the Airfix JP was a no-brainer. Only modifications to the basic kit were to sand off the centre canopy frame (it's actually an internal frame), create the wing tank lights, and add a few small intakes on the rear fuselage. Decals were Xtradecal- it was a battle getting them to bend around the leading edges but with enough solvent they finally did.

Yet again a really sharp finish. The clean result really belies the small scale. The canopy in particular is superb. Excellent work Mike.

Beautiful job mike , i love the look of the dayglo trainers , ive got the old Hasegawa Beech t34 Mentor in the stash but darent start it because just about all the schemes are some degree of orange dayglo , and i know it can be a tricky thing to get right.

Very nice Mike. I've built two of these little things, and a third is about to follow. There's something about the JP that just floats my boat !
