    FINISHED: Tamiya 1:48 Spitfire VB

As above... completed in the scheme of Jan Zumbach, of 303rd Squadron, Kirton-in-Lindsey

Interesting chap this Mr Zumbach, a man after my own heart - Pilot, mercenary, contraband-runner...

Jan Zumbach - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Anyway on to the pics

Tamiya kit, Tamiya & Xtracolor paint, Xtracolor matt varnish, weathering with Tamiya Smoke and chalk pastels

    Comments & opinions welcome.

Youve made a great job of that. Tamiya kits are really nice to build arent they? .I'm currently building their 1/48 P47D Myself.

That's a lovely Spit Stuart, the paintwork & weathering are excellent & really bring out the details. How about some close-up shots?

Thanks so much everyone, reading comments like this makes me really get the bug back

Richy I couldnt fault this kit except the fit of the wing tips. There and the underside rear wing joint were the only places I used filler, and it was probably due to my own cack-handedness lol

                          Thanks once again

                          Stuart
