    Revell 1/32 Vought Corsair

Had this on the bench for a long time, uninspired by the kit. But then last week once it was built I really enjoyed the painting process and in the end really had fun with it! Click image for larger version

Nice job Russel, the engine looks really good. I built the Tamiya version of 'Big Hog' and its exhaust outlets are at the bottom of the engine cowling. I think Revell and Tamiya need to have a chat.

Well it's a very nice exhaust effect you have created. It's something I normally struggle with.

I’ve used oils to good effect but this is just airbrush. I think I prefer the oils as you can obviously shake it for hours if you want whereas the airbrush is more or less a done deal.

Looks good! That instrument panel and the engine are especially well done.

Great work Russell, a suitably worn effect works well on the Corsair
