    My first picture posta Mosquito

My sixth model since I started modelling a year ago. A Revell 1/48 Mosquito.

Not easy not many parts fitted, some just very awful. But great experience gained putting it together as it was so bad.

Sobering to think that the prototype was ready to fly when I was already 2years old. Cor blimey !

I understand the 'fun' to be had building this model. But, at the end of the day, it looks like a decent Mosquito when completed. Nice job laurie.

Thanks to you all for your very kind remarks. Very encouraging it being my first public showing. I am thinking of getting a club or bunch of us to together. In Jersey we do not have any organisation but I know we have some enthusiasts from a number of Jersey people who wander the forums & the two model shops we have here. Difficult to gauge how well you are doing unless you see the other peoples stuff in the real.

Forgot to take a photo of the bomb bay. This is the best part of this Revell model it really is well detailed. Unfortunate that nobody sees it. Thought of a mirror under it but I do not think it will look right photo perhaps.

Thats a cracker of a build Laurie. The finish is super and effort put into it shows.

Funny, not been a mossy for a while then there's a whole swarm of them.... (I got one on the bench waiting for paint as well).

                        five star build!

ps didnt realise that the mossy was that old.............. :-P

Here I go again...... Missed this completely, sorry Laurie!

Very nice indeed, well painted and presented. I do like the backdrop, it finishes the composition off a treat.

                            Nice one.
