Eduard 1/48 Bell Airacobra Mk.I - finally finished.

After a couple of weeks delay, awaiting a replacement canopy from Eduard ( I broke it! ) this is finally finished.

This boxing of the P-39 dates from 2000, and I think shows how far ahead of the field Eduard really were. Even by today's standards it's a nice little model. It comes with all the goodies, no aftermarket parts needed. The parts are cleanly moulded, and the fit is pretty good. The Weekend version of this from Eduard should be worth a look, as the PE, whilst very nice isn't that critical - the only factor to watch out for is getting enough weight in the nose to prevent tail sitting! ( This one has a purpose cast part ). Apart from the self created delay, I enjoyed making this a lot.
    Thanks for dropping by................

Very nicely done indeed. And good to see something different from the usual.
